The Pizzutella grape is one of Italy’s most popular table grapes, grown primarily in southern Italy, particularly in Puglia. Its name comes from the Roman dialect, given that it is also a very popular variety in Lazio, particularly in the Tivoli area. “Pizzuto” in Lazio dialect means “pointed.” The name refers to this grape’s most striking characteristic, which is its very elongated and pointed berries.
