Tarocco is a variety of Sicilian red orange, an IGP product, recognizable by its bright colored peel with garnet red hues and pulp with more or less intense red streaks depending on the harvest period. The thin peel and aromatic, moderately acidic flavor make this fruit particularly appreciated both for fresh consumption (excellent in salads) and for squeezing and confectionery preparations.
