Formosa papaya belongs to the Caricaceae family. With an elongated shape and medium-large dimensions, it can weigh up to 1 kg. The thin peel has a green-yellow color, while inside the pulp is soft and contains numerous black seeds. Papaya formosa contains an important enzyme, papain, known for its regenerative properties.

Thanks to the content of vitamin C, vitamin A and minerals such as potassium, zinc and magnesium, papaya helps to fight tiredness and remineralize the body, giving energy and also proving useful against psycho-physical stress, which is why it is called also “fruit of vitality”.
