Yellow grapefruits are rich in vitamin C. They contain various minerals, water, vitamins, fibre and not excessive amounts of sugar.
The fruit is yellow in colour and normally measures 10 to 15 cm in diameter; the segments are slightly yellow, almost colourless. The skin is smooth, greenish, sometimes pinkish, while the flesh ranges in colour from straw yellow to pink to red, depending on the variety.
