William Pear
Product in Argentina

The Williams variety was born at the end of the 1700s in England, where the young William Pear began the cultivation and distribution of this pear variety. It has a greenish skin, tending towards yellow when it becomes ripe, although there are also red varieties. Its juicy pulp is white, buttery and has a sweetly intense scent.

Very rich in calcium and boron, it promotes the strengthening of bones by improving the alertness of our reflexes. It contains many fibres, particularly contained in the peel. The most important is pectin, a soluble fiber that promotes intestinal transit. Vitamins and potassium are also abundant in Williams Pears.
